We decided to look for a cabin rather than keeping the 5th wheel so I decided after 10 years of 4x4 superduties it was time to go back to a 150. Traded my 11 F350 gasser in on an escape for the wife and while I was at it traded her Saturn in on a new 2 wheel drive supercab 5.0 XLT. The rebates right now are insane. Got 3K on the escape and 6250 on the truck. If you're thinking about an XLT this is the time to get it. The opening offer on the truck was about 4 grand less than what I figured I'd end up paying and they were only about 500 low on the trade. I feel cheated. I couldn't in good conscious haggle with the guy. Where's the fun in that?

Now it's time to start playing. Can't decide if I want to chip the thing or not. Want to do intake and exhaust (maybe just muffler from what I've been reading) Bed cover and maybe lower it all around. Figure that stuff wont void the warranty. Still have to decide on the chip or tuner issue.

Any other nice mods for these?
