new from post falls

hey guys and gals. first time owner , but not new to ford. i have a 2005 supercharged mustang. I recently moved from Cali to Post Falls Idaho and figured i needed a truck. So my son and a friend of mine found me this. I actually am flying down to LA to pick it up and use it to tow my trailer back up here. I work in Film as a Special Effects tech and have been working for the last 2 years in Toronto.

I am now home and need pick up the trailer. this looked like a good fit. the truck is a 2001 supercrew lariat 4x4. it has leather , tow and all the power stuff. it does have a few tears in the driver seat and the top of the leather steering wheel is torn away. i need to figure if i want to replace the wheel or try to recover it. i also need to figure if i just repair of recover the seat.

my friend that checked out the truck is a master mech and did a complete check. it has 150k but the body is flawless and everything works great.
he is taking it to work tomorrow and replacing all the fluids and filters.
hopefully i will get some good use out of her.

thanks, yea it started out as just a daily driver to get me from long beach to Burbank in traffic. then the mod bug hit me.

my son and i did the stripes. then the duals. then i was hooked up with a guy developing a supercharger kit for the v6 and he and i installed the eaton mp90 on it. then a few years ago i was working on deathrace and i had ordered complete suspension kits for all the mustangs we were using from Progress group, and got one of the systems. so she has 4 wheel adjustable springs.

Then redid the seats with yellow inserts and a bunch of other stuff. i has pretty much turned into my mid life crisis. shes running around 320 hp and is in the 12s which is respectable for a 6.

oh man i love your car.... i am from the silver valley, Wallace... now i am in southern Idaho... Idaho falls. way nicer up north... post falls is a nice place to live, i use to go swimming there alot when i was young....close to C'D'A and spokane ... you will want to put your car away in the winter and drive the truck.. well it is not as bad over in post falls, but in the valley there is alot more snow...

Thanks, it has been a fun toy to play with and fix up with my boys. and as far as post falls goes yea it is a bit of a change from long beach cal. my wife's sister and family live up here and they have been trying to get us to come up for years.

we have visited a few times but work pretty much kept that from happening. A few years a go more and more movies started to go out of town and i found myself on more locations. so last year we decided to make the move. i had been in Toronto Ontario working on total recall since march of 2011 and then stayed to do pacific rim. when i finished and went home, we loaded up a u hall and came here. We put it all in storage and stayed with her sister till i returned to Toronto to do a remake of Robo Cop. I finished Robo in February and came back here. we have been waiting for the weather to get better to fly down and pick up my car trailer with my welders and misc tools. That's why i needed the truck. I used to tow it with my motor home but got rid of it last year.

I just love it here and cant wait to get a boat and hit the water this summer. Toronto got us used to the cold, so we are dealing with it.

also here is a article on the car back in November a few years back in mustang Monthly. she was a little show ***** back in the day. I have since changed the stripes and grill.
