Hello from British Columbia
Hi everyone, I just bought a 1993 F150 XLT, Supercab, 2wd, 5.0L, Automatic . It has 189,000 miles on it but runs and drives really nice and I couldn't really complain for $1300.00. It has some little things that need to be done but other than that seems pretty solid. There is some surface rust on the drivers side lower cab but I will probably grind it out/treat it and then replace the brown lower stripe on the bottom with a DIY bedliner product for additional durability. It is definately not as cancerous as most of these trucks that I see. I plan on adding a few things (exhaust/air intake) to the truck but for the most part will be leaving it alone.

This is my 3rd F150 (I have also owned a 1980 F250 and a 1981 Bronco). My first one I bought at 15 as my first vehicle it was a 1976 F150 Reg Cab 4x4, 390cid, Auto, 3" Lift on 35's. My second was a 1986 F150 Supercab, 4x4, 5.0L, 4spd with 8" lift and 35's. Those trucks were a long time ago and since then I have gotten married, had kids, got a mortgage etc. Well now that my boys are getting to the age of wanting to go fishing, camping, quadding etc, my wife finally relented and we went and bought a truck. She would much rather have a brand new quad cab with all the bells and whistle but I would take a 80-96 F-series any day of the week, no payments and at least I can work on this one. I don't know what it is but the 80-96 F-series have always been my favorite body style. Anyways just wanted to say hi, and I can tell that I will be "wasting" a lot of time on this forum .
PS. Here is one of the reasons we needed a truck, wife didn't appreciate this too much in her van
