Lightbulb Hola!

While I have posted in the past seeking solutions to technical issues, I have not properly introduced myself... Instead, because I am not one to blow my own horn, I will share with you the current results on my project truck as it has become a hobby which I seem to enjoy. I own a 92 f150 with a 5.0l 4x4. She, Francine has a 5 speed, I think it is the Mazda version. I have updated all of the maintenance issues associated with it and have moved onto recreational mods. I first started with a Lunati cam. I then swapped out the 173/he injectors for 24#ers. I then installed a k&n air intake system because I was and still am experiencing some issues. While helpful and required it did not solve all of the issues associated with the cam and injector swap. I did need to change the o2 sensor. I went with the one for the 92 5.0 gt motor as it seemed my best bet. I believe that there was a crossover with the 93 360 hp cobra motor's o2 sensor. I am still experiencing a couple of issues with it. First she still has a stalling issue and then a fuel supply problem. I believe that I have done my homework and have the solutions sighted. First I need to replace the map sensor. The tps, o2 sensor and the map sensor interact with the iac valve and control both rich/lean and even fuel pressure. If I replace the map sensor I believe that it should improve stalling because then the eec will more or less be equipped to monitor the air/fuel ratio just like in the higher performance 5.0l motors, cobras and what not. Then that leaves only the fuel pressure issue. A new high pressure/volume pump with a proper filter and an adjustable regulator should drastically improve overall efficiency and power. As I am currently low on funds due to the current state of affairs, I shall have to wait until next month. I hope all of you Ford enthusiasts can pull off some cool mods as well.
Good luck...
BEB
