Cam Phasers Warranty Issues

Hey Guys,

I have had my 2009 F150 since this Febuary(purchased used). I just brought it into the dealership for a faulty 02 sensor as well to check on my cam phasers, which were ticking. The service manager acknowledges that there is an issue, however because there is no engine light on or any "hard failure" my extended warranty provider will not cover the cost to get them replaced. The provider is tricare, which was sold to me by the dealerships finance officer. Also I just finding out that some of these dealerships are owners of Tricare. This in it self raises concerns, one being that it is in there benefit to deny claims. Im very frustrated that I am paying for coverage and there is an issue with my truck, but they will not cover it. Just trying to wash their hands until my coverage runs out.

Can someone give me advice on this issue?

Thanks
