My Second Ford.. First F-150... Hello

Hey all...

Just picked up my first (kinda) Ford.... Its my daily, and just over all in real good shape.

Not a Ford guy, but I did own a 2006 E350 18' Cube Van with a 5.4 in it and it never let me down.... Sold my business and the cube, but it wasn't really what I consider my first Ford .... Cuz who would admit to owning a cool cruiser cube..?? Hhaha

Anyways, I'm a Dodge guy, but picked this up because its paid for, and I'm due for a new Harley in the spring.. the less payments the better I guess...

2001 F150 with a 4.6 in it ... Stock for now.

Future plans include:
Alpine CD with Sirius (can't live without SAT radio)
22" Wheels likely chrome
2/3 Drop
Grille of some kind
Clear signals

And from there... who knows...

Here's how she looks after about a week of ownership.

3 things that go bad on these 1997-2003 F150s. spark plugs blow out, fuel sending unit and fuel pumps go bad, both require dropping the gas tank. Overdrive in tranny may quit.
Having driven trucks since 1985 your setup is the best. Change all fluids/filters, lube everything that moves, inspect brake shoes and drive it until it drops! Brake master cylinders and starters are good for 110-120k miles. Nice truck, good luck!
