I live in the Kirkland suburb of Seattle and I recently put in an order for a 2013 F150 -- my first truck ever! I have been obsessing over how awesome it will be when it finally shows up, so I've decided to take the opportunity to join this forum and maybe post a couple questions when it finally arrives

Hey Jason. I am also waiting on a new truck up here. Tried Kirkland first, but they quit responding so I ended up at Harris. Lots of great help on the site. First place you might want to hit is the Build Tracker. Read the stickies first. Setchan is a great help for tracking your truck in the system.

 

Thanks, tamohawk. Ford of Kirkland has been pretty good to me, although I emailed the internet guy and told him I wanted this truck, with these options (by code), and I wanted it for invoice. I haven't heard a ton out of the guy since putting in the order (I think only one "we're still waiting" email), but I anticipated a long wait

As for build tracking, I know there's a post minimum, and I don't want to just post garbage to artificially inflate my numbers I did get my VIN and a build date yesterday, so at least that's progress!
