Greetings and Salutations
I'm Sgt Beavis! You may remember me from such internet message boards and blogs as "DFWMustangs", and "Jalopnik" (aka-the gawker train wreck). While you're enjoying my first post to your message board, I will be repeatedly engage in tom foolery while becoming a glutton for internet punishment.
*ahem* Ok, so enough of the Simpson-esq stuff. I picked up my 2012 FX2 a little more than a month ago from Grapevine Ford in Grapevine, TX. The sales manager there is a long time member of our Mustang board and a cool guy. However the truck has been one fantastic purchase. I traded in my not so old BMW 328i sport wagon for my first full sized pickup truck. I opted for the FX2 since it gave me most of the options I wanted without the Lariat pricing. Most important of these is the air conditioned seats. What a God send in these Texas temperatures. I also skipped the Ecoboost option in favor of the 5.0. IMO the fuel gains just don't justify the $1100 price increase. Besides, I work from home everyday so I really don't care about gas prices.
As you can see, I've already outfitted the truck with an Undercover Flip Tonneau and a BedRug. Thus far I am pretty happy with both.
