First timer, first ford!
Hey everyone
Name is Daniel, Dan I prefer. I just bought my first Ford yesterday. 2001 Black F150 Super Crew with 130K. Had to upgrade for the family, two little ones with one more in the works. I was a ASE mechanic in another life for 6 years, mostly did import work, Honda, Toyota, Mitsubishi, got into domestic just before the career change....worked at Chevy for a year. I find myslef not too impartial for a specific brand more or less looking for the deal. I am now a full time Firefighter/Paramedic. My current fleet is a 1994 Chevy ext cab z71, 1988 suzuki samurai, 2001 Honda Valkyrie, 2005 Mazda MPV. Every single one I picked up in a state of disrepair and got them all straightened out. Just about the same story for this F150. No Ac, evap leak, Ds seat needs rebuild, Guage cluster odometer inop intermittently yada yada yada. Not too big into OBD Ii systems and I always have questions so expect to see them around somewhere. Nice to meet all of you.
