new from Houston, Texas

What's up everyone, I signed up here because I know I'll need suggestions and such about the F-150 that I plan on buying later on this year around December or Jan. 2013.
But I'm still unsure if i'll be getting a 5.0L V8 or a 3.5L V6 Turbo... I'm leaning more towards the 5.0L V8 though.
I'm also not sure if I'll get a better deal getting a 2012 or a 2013...

If you are buying a 2012, buy one soon. 2013's will be out soon IIRC.

Best time? really other than the first month the new year truck is out in texas all year seems to hold close to the same rebates around here it seems.

My only real advice, SHOP AROUND. Any dealer will get you the truck you want, so don't buy some where just because they have it right now.

clark@autoanything - Thank you, I may just get the 5.0L V8 and 2013 depending if the price is abuot the same as the 2012

06yz250f - If the price wont be that much of a difference I'm assuming i'll be better off just getting a 2013 then?

Thanks coobies5 and setchan

If you were planning on waiting anyways, might as well.

If 2013 trucks are up on fords website, i'd check to see what price increases they have done.

Yeah I'm going to make the purchase around December 2012 or Jan. 2013.
No 2013s on the website as of yet, so who knows what the price difference will be.
