Hello..with pics
Wanted to do a proper intro of myself and say hello. I know everyone likes pics so you'll get some!
I usually roam another F150 site but in my never ending quest to learn more, it has led me here. I'm going to keep my truck forever so I am exploring options whenever my engine dies. Thinking of 3 things; keep the 4.6 block and adding trick flow heads, 5.4 2V swap (hopefully Lightning motor), or supercharging my motor.
I've done a lot of searching and from what I've found the 98-03 ATI Procharger kit will fit my body style truck but I will have to re-pipe the intercooler to make it work.
Anyhow, here's my truck and props to this forum for all the knowledge here!
Old Truck...loved it but the 5.4 was problematic (Cam phasers, injectors, idle issues, spark plugs, etc) Sold it cause I got tired of pouring $$$ to fix things. After it hit 115K thats pretty much when most of the probs started.
Loved this body style truck so much had to get another. This is what it looked like the day I bought it from the previous owner.
Just hated the silver so I used spray on bed liner to mod.
Decided the chrome wheels wasn't my style so got new rims and this is how it looks today. Happy with everything for now but like everyone else here, always looking to mod...
