New From Florida

Well, I am new too the older F150 world. This past friday I saw a truck that caught my eye. So I called the guy and went and looked at it and I had to have it. Anyways its a 1994 F150 302 4x4 with Dana 44 Straight axle swap, 9" Lift, 37" Goodyear Militarys, and Warn Gold series Hubs, mild cam, with really nice interior and even still had cold AC . Which really surprised me for a 1994, 4wd works great and pulls good . Body is in pretty good shape, couple dings here and there but where I go too school, we can bring our vehicles in and work on them if needed, so I wasnt worried about that too much . It just needs cosmetic work that wont be a problem for me to fix. (Keep in mind I am 16 and this is my FIRST truck) . The DSG f150 in the pictures is my Dads truck . Also I have been cleaning my running gear cause I want to spray it black, what would be my best stuff do that with ? I was thinking some sandpaper to rough it up and clean it with grease remover and spray it with some high temp or something .

Make sure you post your questions in the appropriate section in the Forum. You will get a reply from someone who can suggest what to do in no time at all. Sorry that I couldn't help out - welcome to you anyways!

P.S. A truck at 16 is pretty cool. I didn't get my first set of wheels until I was 22 and it was a 1990 Dodge Spirit (piece of Sh#t!). Wanted a truck but the insurance would have been $5,200.00/year!
