2012 F150 4x4 v6
Welcome STILLnsc! There are lots of threads in this Forum about mpg. I found them useful and they helped me decide to get a F150 with the ecoboost over the RAM with the Hemi.
Basically, everyone agrees that the actual mpg they get is slightly lower than the reported mpg. It also depends on how hard you hit the skinny pedal, what you haul and what you tow. When the manufacturers calculate the reported mpg, they do so in a "perfect" world where they drive on a track with no wind, no heat and humidity, no weight in the truck and they drive at 55 mph for Hwy and 30 mph for city. Or so I have been told.
Have a look around in the Forumand you will find the answers you are looking for.
All the best to you!
