Hi all, first post and first visit. Long time Ford owner (Mustang, Escort GT SHO, Sable LS Duratech, 85 F250 POS, all gone but the Mustang) with a new member in the family.
We just got a new Black 2011 F150 Supercrew 4x4 XLT with 5.0L/SST/3.73 axle. It has the XTR package and a few interesting options (Remote start, Trailer tow, Sync, tailgate step).
Bought the '11 because of the deal (extra $5000 discount over buying '12). As it was, the discount was close to $15K. The truck had less than 100km on the OD when we took it home last week, been at the dealer since sept. OTD with 5% tax was $28K Canadian. We traded an 07 Mazda 5 with a manual trans and 60000 km. Thrilled with our new truck.
Lots of questions, but this is a good start. Pics will follow.
