new ford owner..
so recently totalled my 2011 sierra crew cab, and while looking for a new vehicle, not one chevy or gmc dealership wanted to mess with me, infact it took them over a week to reply by email and wouldnt return calls... the local one refused to give me a price on ANYTHING until i went test drive, and i wasnt test driving a vehicle i already had, especially since i was using a friends vehicle to shop around with. so after hating on ford for so long he brought me to the local ford dealership, and man were they helpful. they put up with me for 3 days, calling dozens of dealerships to find the truck I wanted. I eventually settled on a 2012 Screw lariat in that dark metallic gray, with black leather interior loaded out to the max. and guess what, since they were so helpful with me finding a truck, i bought it from them, and i have STILL yet to have a return call from ANY GM dealership. The Ford dealership I was dealing with would call me multiple times, asking preference in color, things in the truck, etc.. From what I can tell comparing both vehicles, the Ford doesnt have the pickup as my sierra, but drives 10 times smoother, the interior seems higher quality and is way nicer, and for the price, i loaded it out and have so many more features than my sierra. also, the room in the back seat IS RIDICULOUS. Ive never seen so much room in a vehicle unless it was an SUV. Now, after the hassle and BS from other dealerships, and service after the sale, i'm stuck with ford.
