Cool

Hey, wad up? I special ordered my new '11 Lariat (in Red Candy two tone) in the beginning of October of 2010. I was told six to eight weeks for delivery. I didn't take delivery until mid January, about fifteen weeks! But I ordered the 6.2, not the ecoboost. I've been hearing nothing but good things about the ecoboost. Did you take one for a test drive? Or any new F150? 'cause I gotta tell ya, mine rides like a Cadillac. And quite, Well, before I had the exhaust system installed I know you'll enjoy her!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Scarlet.... My wife drove a 2012 Eco and said it screams... She took the dealer for a ride and stomped on it on the highway.... I drove a 2012 Lariat 5.4 and was actually a bit disappointed... so the Eco it is... I'm expecting delivery somewhere around the end of April...

I have a 2000 F-150 which I absolutely love..... Had it for 13 years, and it had replaced an Infinity I30...

Cool

Coolness. I know what you mean about the 5.4. When I was looking to buy in 2010, I looked at and drove countless F150's, of all types. Regular cabs, super, supercrew, etc.. was looking for room and power to tow a Travel trailer (which I hadn't yet bought at the time). I settled on it had to be a supercrew (for space), a 4x4 (I have property in West Virginia), and power to tow a nice sized travel trailer (I ended up buying a Keystone Bullet Premier which has a total weight rasting of 7600 lbs.). Although it ran strong, the 5.4 just didn't seem to have enough "*****" to me. Plus I couldn't find one that was equipted the way I wanted. At that point it was pretty much just 2010 left overs. So, I researched the new 2011's and it was pretty much a no brainer. I couldn't make up my mind though between the 6.2 and the Ecoboost. Well, I am primarially a "V8" guy, plus I love the "Grunt". So the 6.2 it was. And I gotta tell ya, my F150 gets FANTASTIC mileage! Going out to WV which is about a 265 mile trip one way, going thru the mountains, and traveling at an average speed of 65mph, I routinely get 18.5-20mpg. Sometimes better (depending on wind direction). Good luck and enjoy that bad boy!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just a clarification..you mean the new 5.0L, not the 5.4, right?
