Does anyone else have this problem, I own a '92 Ford F150 and the inside door handles keep breaking. Hell, I don't even know how many times I replaced them only to have them break again. Any solutions?? Any suggestions?? This is seriously starting to tick me off.

 

I have not heard of people having this problem.

How hard are you yanking these to open the door?

Maybe you have a latch problem if you have to pull too hard to open the door.

 

I'm actually not pulling hard on them at all. I just pull enough to where the door will open. A few people have suggested that I take it to a body shop to get it fixed. But, I think your right...it probably is a latch problem.

 

I had 5 trucks throughout the '90s. Finally went to the junkyard and took a pair of chrome (metal) interior handles out of a 1984 f-150. Bolted right into all my trucks 1990-1996. Not gonna break those!

As for your handle problem, I suggest taking it to a decent shop to have it checked out. Sounds like an internal problem. is the actual handle beaking or the "linkage" part??

 

I broke the plastic door handles in my first vehicle over and over and over again...

I finally found a way to rig it so that a metal handle could be used... they get expensive!!
