Gave my truck a blow job.
Was vacuuming my truck today as i do religiously and had an idea. What if i blew the truck out? NO! I did not use a leaf blower! I fired up my compressor and drug out my air hose with an airgun attatchment on the end. Wow, kind of scary how much dust and crap i blew out that gets stuck in hard/impossible to reach places with a vacuum! As i blew the dust out i just moved the air hose up and blew it right out of the truck, not a noticeable difference as far as the interior goes, but i feel better knowing all that got blown out, after awhile it would accumulate and then look bad. Afterwards i gave her a healthy dose of Febreze, Ahhhhh! smells great! Just an idea all- enjoy!
We used to do that all the time back when I detailed cars, blowing them out with a compressor I mean
. You blow out the carpet first, then the seats. Once the dust and dirt is suspended in the air, you just point the gun into the air and blow it out from on side to the other. After that, just hit the dash and hard surfaces once more. It is AMAZING how much junk collects in the carpet and seats, it's a wonder we can even breath?? Just a year or so and wham, instant dustbowl
. Driving with the windows down and/or a/c in the "a/c" position increases the chances of it happening.
I was in a Focus dealer rental last year while I got new doors, and you wouldn't believe how lame the intake system was! If any tree pollen, seeds, leaves, etc. landed on the windshield intake, it blew all over you when you turned on the a/c. Talk about cheesy!!! I just left the car like that when I took it back, maybe they'll get REAL cars as rentals, lol!,,,,98
