Try Lowe's

Lowe's has most screws, and special fasteners that work on Ford products. Go to the aisle where fasteners are then look for the metal cabinet with the rollout drawers where the keep special fasteners. There are screws, plastic inserts, etc. Fortunately my console came with all fasteners except the bolts that mount it to the brackets. I found these at Lowe's

What size screws are in the lid of the Expy console are they torx/hex head or are they flat philips? does anyone know?

Also does anyone have a diagram of how this thing goes together like the mounting plates i have four of them and it only uses 2 from what i can see.

Ascii,

First off, thanks again on the XM questions...

Secondly, I hope I might be able to help so that I can pay you back just a little for all the advice you gave with my XM situation...

I would suggest contacting the folks at www.oemfordparts.com or the folks at www.fordpartsnetwork.com for the information.

I've dealt with fordpartsnetwork a few times on a few different products with nothing but PERFECT results. They REALLY know what they're doing.

You might contact him with your question and see what he has to say. They typically respond within about an hour of sending an email so, it's certainly worth a try.

Good luck man.

Ascii,

Check out this How-to for instructions on which plates to use.

I am not sure about size of screws, etc. as mine came with everything.
