How do i .......???

How do i paint an interior piece with out the fear of it chipping or fading or messing up in anyway i know there is a chance anything can happen but whats the "Best" way to make the chances a little less????

Im going from Dark Grey almost Black to a light Grey if someone could either point me to a place that tell you or give me a step by step process it would be much appreciated.

Thank You.....

Sorry Ascii. I have not had good results painting interior vinyl trim components. A better solution may be to adhere a cloth covering to change the color.

i have seen them dye some parts of int. but not all of it. you can look into that. i dont think they ever had any problems. and i know ford says do not paint air bags. so be careful there. if your doing dash.

I've seen members here paint some panels. The panels have to be removed from the truck first.

I can't remember the exact threads, but do a search and you might get lucky.

I beleive there was surface prep work (possibly chemical strippers), primers and final paint.

A whole lot of work.
