Broke arm rest
The drivers side arm rest on my 2000 lariat (leather captains chairs) has flopped down and appears to be stripped out.
Is this a do-it-yourself repair or something best left to the dealer?

You might be able to fix it. I think that there's a cable that runs out the back of it and attaches somehow to the seat back or bottom that limits its 'downward' travel. Swear I saw this on a seat being fixed.
