LWM is $155 now !?!?
Talk about gouging the price. They won't be hearing from me. I hate that type of business practice.

I think it is more like supply and demand. Their supply is getting low and they are one of the only places to get used Expy consoles from so they charge 2x what they used to. It's still 1/4 the price of a new one.

 

No the reason is because they want to sell them on ebay and try and make more right now there is a tan one on there that was on there last week. They tried to sell it at like start bid $125 didnt even get one bid so now its on again for $99.A grey one went for $330.

What does the back of the console look like? What is there? Looks like a spot for head phones and ?

 

Radio controls like volume and so on along with the jacks you can also get cupholders but if you dont want to use the radio controls use some trim from another vehicle at the junkyard or something =]

I also have installed an Expedtion console in my ride but I have been unable to get it to sit flush on the floor.

There is a space between the flooor and the bottom of the console.


I noticed that the photos of BlueFlareside's console seem to indicate that he does not have this problem.

Is there anything that can be done to rectify this space problem?

Also, where can I get the radio control setup for the back of the console?

There is a small gap between the floor and console on mine too. Is yours about like this?

 

Called LWM today for the console. They want $150.00 for the console and $35.00 for shipping That's alot to ship! They say they have plenty of Tan ones stacked up This means as they said there will be some scratches That does not make me happy, why dont they protect them with some cloth or something. At this point I am not sure about getting one with scratches. Has anyone else got these consoles from LWM and they are in perfect condition? Thanks

 

I live like 15 min from lwm and have been using them for like 6 years. LOL Kinda funny to see them on here. They are just a little hole in the wall place run by a younger guy who employs all his family it looks like. But the do have pretty good prices most of the time. Like A ram air hood for the f150 is like 345 I think?

 

They are odd to deal with as they are small. I ordered one and it's lid was messed up and they had a brand new lid still in the factory plastic with the console. All I did was install the new lid during the console install. Ask them if that's what you'd be getting as that's about what I paid last year and I live in Michigan. Other than the lid the unit was in good shape just dirty from sitting around a shop. I got the impression they are on a dirt road or at least near one.

 

They have a gravel parking lot and are just off the interstate just south of norman. I am going to see if they will take my old factory wheels as trade in sice they deal with factory takeoffs and put that towards the console...I do have a question though. I am thinkin of getting the one with ac controls and cutting out mine and replacing the controls and radio with an lcd touchscreen and of course dvd chnger in the console. I think this would be a pretty sweet setup since it would look factroy. What do you guys think?

 

Is there anywhere else that might carry these expy consoles other than LWM?
