Leather seat care

I'm getting quite a few wrinkles on my leather driver side seat. What can I do to minimize or prevent them?
I clean my leather seats with a warm damp terry cloth, wait until they are dry and then apply a product called Lenox.
Do you have a better procedure?

I use turtle wax brand, emerald series leather cleaner/conditioner. It works great for me and smells good too and isn't oily. Wrinkles are unadviodable though, its just normal wear for the leather. As long as you don't get any cracks, it should be fine

You mentioned a product named LENOX. Did you mean LEXOL? (Brown bottle?)

Unfortunately, leather wrinkles are a way of life with all vehicles. They are caused by the stretching of the leather from the body weight over repeated use.

I definately recommend the LEXOL product (as I use it on my King Ranch leather) but, even with that leather, I'm begining to see some very slight wrinkles.

It's just one of the side effects....

I use Zymol leather cleaner and then condition it with Zymol leather conditioner. Does a great job. The cleaner actually conditions the leather a bit too, but the actual conditioner makes the leather quite soft to the touch. Also makes the leather smell new again. The conditioner and cleaner cost about $15 and can be purchased at Wal-Mart, Target, etc.

I used to use Meguiars, but Zymol products are far better in my opinion.

leather is skin. to preserve it you need to make sure it is clean and moisturized. Do not let it dry out (no matter how processed the leather is) as that is when it started to crack.

I use Lexol conditioner on a regular basis and the Lexol cleaner as needed. I have had no problems with cracking, however, wrinkles are another story. I think this is just a product of the low quality leather (if that is what it really is) in the F-150s. My wife never cleans or conditions the leather in her 1999 BMW and it looks as good as it did the day she drove it off the lot.
