AC is hot~help!

I do live south of houston, with humidity on a normal day of 85%+ and it usually is around 90-100+ in the summer but still, i would really like to be able to turn on my A/C and feel the cold. Especially after driving a minute. Friend got in the other day and commented that its not as cold as it seemed like it used to be. I agree with him. Is there anyway to re-charge my A/C or use something to get it ice cold? Thanks a mil guys...

recharge....

sounds like your slightly low on R-134a(look at your radiator cowl and make sure this is what it calls for). charging is tricky so i,d just get a can and take it to a local a/c shop and they should just charge a half hour labor rate to top off the charge for you,say 35 or 40 bucks. if they start coming off about how you need this and that, tell them to top the charge and get a second opinion.

Charging the AC

What I did is put a thermometer in my air conditioner vent and started to ad R-134A slowly. I waited till the temp read about 45 degree's. You can buy the coolant and the lines for about $20...l This worked for me
