Question Sagging seat

I purchased a 1997 ext. cab long bed 4x4 with the 4.6 XLT about 3 months ago. I love this truck, but the one annoying thing is that the left side of the driver's seat has lost some of it's lift. It feels like the foam inside the seat has either shifted or simply lost it's rebound, and my left cheek is riding lower than my right!!
I've never worked on upholstery or done anything with fabric, but is there a way to correct this problem, and has anyone else had it happen to them. I'd rather not have to shell out a lotta dough, so any help appreciated.
bye the way, it's a powered seat model....Thanks

Lightbulb There are a number of places....

...which specialize in auto upholstery. i bet they could restuff your auto seat (even with power accessories) and sew the original cover back on for less than $200 It would look like new.

yeah man, mine is doing the same thing - i suspect it's due to years of sliding out of the truck on the left side, which probably makes the cushion even more packed. It's annoying, i'll get it fixed.

Been there and done that

In my Ram I had to have the seat refoamed from years of my big rear sliding in and out of the truck.

The place put in a denser foam then normal when I had it redone, so I actually had no problem with it after that, up to the day I sold it.

If you take it in, ask if they have a harder foam to fill it with, it is a better thing, and also did a wrap around the foam ( don't know what that was ), but they always add a wrap around the foam.

I figure in about 2 years I will need to take this one in, as it will have given up the ghost by then. Maybe less Pasta would help me out with this problem <g> ?
