speedometer needles r slipping...help!

i got some indiglo gauges and installed them myself... the electrical stuff is fine, but the needles are slipping or lose or something... i was having trouble setting my needles at first, and constantly taking them on and off... then, when i finally got them right, i noticed that they weren't moving right... whenever i would accelerate or brake, the needles (speed & rpm) would move somewhat like a "second hand" on a clock... not smooth like they did before...if u need me to explain better or if u can help me please email me. thanx

Lightbulb

You must have been burned like I was, indiglo gauges without adhesive on the back. I went through hell with mine, getting them to stay flat and not stop the needles. After three or four times of tearing down the dash, I finally got them right. I also superglued mine down. You could possibly have the needles pressed in too far, which is a definite possibility. Try pulling them off, and pressing more lightly the next time. The last and most remote trouble you could be having, is the holes on the gauge face being too small. That's a rare occurence I would think, though. Good luck!,,,,98
