Does anyone know how to take the cup holder out of the arm rest on a 97 xlt? I tried prying it off, but was not sure if thats how it comes off. thanks

 

If this is the one that is integrated into the armrest of the 60/40 seat, I don't think it comes off. At least it doesnt look that way on my 98 XLT.

 

If your talking about the one in the 60/40 seat I don't think it can come off or it doesn't look that way anyway.

The single cup holder in the 60/40 bench does come out. It has 4 clips. One in each corner. Pull up on a corner and put a thin lever underneath to push the clip forward as you pull up. If you just pull, they'll break off.
