? about seat colour change.
Not too long ago I changed the p.o.s. one piece bench seats in my truck with the 40/60 split w/ the fold down console. Now here is my problem. My interior is blue but the seats are light grey. My question is what do y'all think would be the best way for me to change the seats to blue? I don't really want to get seat covers. I have thought about taking the fabric off and dying it.
What do you guys think I should do?

You could buy some Wet Okoles'? Seriously though, you could get them spray dyed at an ulpholstry shop. The only problem is that some dyes will rub off on you if they ever get wet. I've had decent luck with the spray dyes from the auto parts stores, but I've never done anything as large or wear oriented as an entire seat. You definitely have a dilemma, there. Maybe someone else could have a better solution than me. I wish you luck

I would go ahead & try seat covers
You know, I never thought I would like seat covers for my truck, but I was forced to get some with my dog messing up my interior. I ended up getting them from www.seatcoversdirect.com and they fit perfectly, look great, and you can't even tell they are on. I guess my point is that I know just how you feel about the whole seat cover thing but they turned out to be just what I needed.

Depending on what you're willing to spend, replacement covers are available from Ford. The cheapest way to go is probably some of these online factory parts outlets. I bought a replacement seat cover for the driver's captains chair, I think it cost around $80.

Custom seat covers were not much
The seat covers I got from www.seatcoversdirect.com were only $129.95 for the entire front set, which INCLUDED shipping. Which is nice since I usually hate buying on the Internet since you get gauged by shipping charges!
