seat question

I am looking for anything that will give me more leg-room in a '96 F-150 regular cab. Is there a seat that might give me an extra inch or more? I am about to take the pads out of the back of the current factory seat. XLT Bench.

sorry, not much to say except replace the truck.

The "current" body style offers about 1" more leg room then the old (the whole cab is about 3" longer)

Might also take it to a local trim shop (maybe one that your local Ford dealer works with). They can't work miracles, but they might be able to offer a few suggestions.

FWIW

More room

Is it possible to drill new holes and move the whole seat and bracket back?

Yuck you don't want a new one!
rubujou you should maybe look into the 4/20/40 front seats.
I've never sat in a bench one but I'm 6ft and I"ve got a reg cab 40/20/40 seat. I've got plenty of leg room, I don't even have the seats all the way back.
