Angry Help with small cut in cloth

Damn, I went to put my brifcase in the back of my new SCrew and found a small cut (about 1" long and about 1/2" deep) on the cloth in the center portion of the back seat towards the rear portion of the seat.

I don't even know how it got there. I can only guess that there was something sharp in one of the kids pockets or book bags. I'm probably going to get some seat covers but I'm afraid if I don't get this fixed the cut will tear and just get worse over time.

B]Is there anything I can do short of having the cut panel replaced???[/B]

I think it's time for you to find an upholstery shop. I suggest you call a few of the car rental agencies. They would know who can fix it. The dealer should know too.

NO DUCT TAPE

ON MY NEW TRUCK. Oh Noooooooo I can't do that.

Actually I took it to an upholstery shop (a friend of a friend) and they have to order the cloth from ford. The difference between medium and dark graphite is very hard to tell. The guy told me he had to order 1 yard from Ford.

I guess it doesn't come in smaller sizes???

Anyways, I think he's going to do it for free becuase he owes my freind a favor. I got a quote from another shop and it was about 200.00 for the cloth and labor. The guy who is doing is pretty good his shop actually did some interiors for some cars in The Fast and the Furious. I'll let you guys know how it turns out
