rattle

my 1979 ford rattles like crazy when i drive it rattles in the doors and under the dash any tips would be appreciated

I don't want to sound snotty, but a 23 year old truck is bound to have squeaks and rattles. You should just be glad it still runs. Most 79's have long since been sent to the scrapyard.

Try a bumper to bumper: nut/bolt/screw tightening, lubrication, and examination/insulation of normally loose parts. After that, learn to live with it.
