Expedition Center Console

Has anyone installed an expedition center console in their F-150 Super Cab?

I have two questions;

1. How did you deal with the armrests on the stock captains chairs?

2. How did you deal with the hole in the rear of the console where the rear seat radio controls was mounted?

FedExPilot,

I heard the call! Thanks for linking him NTGURU with my site. Let me know if my FAQ page does not answer your questions.

I just updated my FAQ page the other day with a new place to get the consoles in case LWM is out of them and I updated some links that did not work anymore.

Steve

That is a great FAQ. The only thing holding me back is the concern NTGURU had. What do you do with the gaping hole at the rear of the console where the rear climate controls would go. I haven't seen any pics of what has been done there.

I am not sure what do do with the hole in the back. I have not seen any pictures posted with a solution. One of the easiest solutions that I thought of would be to cut a piece of wood, cover it with vinyl to match the color of the console and install it from the inside. I will post this question on the Lightning board and see if I get any responses. I will let you know if I get any anwers.

Fiberglass

If you can work fiberglass, you should be able to cover that hole and make it look stock.

Yes, some Lightning guys are using Navigator consoles. They are the same size.
