I use 303 protectant on the dash and door panels, this product is widely used in the marine industry to prevent UV damage and it goes on whithout being to shiny or greasy. I use Lexol leather cleaner and conditioner on the seats and steering wheel.

I use a professional cleaner made by MANCO. It is around $20 for a gallon, but it works great and even restores the "new car scent".

Red face Mother's Protector

I use Mother's Spray Protector and it has never discolored or streaked. It even smells good. I use just a samll amount and then a clean cotton cloth to wipe dry. Not tacky or slick.

what i found that works good on the carpets is Oil Eater. This stuff takes out the nastiest stains and brings it back to new! They say to mix with water but if you put the full power to it, it really lifts the stains!!

I have had great success with McGuiars #40 Vinyl and Rubber Protector. Lexol or Eagle One for leather care.

I have a small sponge, made specially for cars that does a great job on dust and dog hair.

I have been using Armor All (on a cloth, then on the dash, etc) but I think I'm going to try the Pledge . . . !

Talk to one of your local detail shops and see what they use. Try afew different products. Some people like the really shinny look. I don't like the greasey feeling. And it seems to attract the dirt and dust. And when I detailed cars like 10 yrs ago we used the real shinny stuff for the lot cars. And once they sit on the lot in the sun for awhile a film develops on the windows. This is from the dash dressing. And it's not fun to get off. I get supplies from a supplier and I paid $20 for a gallon of dash dressing (neutral finish) and about the same for tire dressing. I do like shinny tires and it lasts. Same goes for the glass cleaner. And the glass cleaner leaves a great clean smell in the truck. I've got a gallon of glass cleaner, wax, tire dressing, and dash dressing close to a year ago. I've used it on my car and now my truck, and afew fire trucks in between. And I still have plenty left. This will save you money compared going to a parts store.
I also got a clay bar. I don't know how many of you may have used one? It will take maybe over an hour to do to your truck. You do this before you wax it. It takes all the junk off the paint. It leaves your paint as smooth as glass.
That is my two cents. Eric

Thumbs up

Wholeheartedly agree on the clay bar, that was the slickest my paint has ever been!! I just wish the piece of clay was bigger. It seems like it takes forever, doesn't it?,,,,98

The clay bar is great. I used it on my SHO. I've had my truck for only 3 months now. So I haven't used it on my truck yet. At least I wont have to bend over as much, just need a ladder now Eric

I've always used Armor All. I've been very pleased with it.
