Cleaner !!!
Cleaner !!!
The inside door handle ( the part you pull on to close the door when your inside ) is dirtier that the rest of the interior. I have the tan interior and was wondering what to clean that area with, the same thing goes with the passenger helper handle by the windshield. And finally, the trim piece in the bottom of the floor, next to the painted door area, ( the thing with the grooves ), any help would be appreciated.
The best, non harsh cleaner I've found for my interior is the Ford all purpose cleaner. It comes in a oval shaped spray bottle. Most Ford parts departments have it out on the shelf, and for a reasonable price. Spray it on, wait a few seconds, then wipe it with a clean (white) terry cloth rag. It works really well!
Most of the vinyl cleaners at the auto parts store are too harsh and will take color off of the pieces. good luck,,,,,98

At least on my interior, Tuff Stuff leaves light spots on all the interior pieces I've tried it on. The color of the panel I was cleaning also came off onto the rag. Never used it again since, it's pretty harsh stuff. Maybe the interior pieces are dyed diffferently on other year models?,,,,98
I will use it on carpet, and often do. I was detailing a BMW once, and it caused the vinyl on the center console to bubble up. On my 75 Mercedes, it took the top layer off the dash vinyl trim. Needless to say I'm a little wary of using it now
No offense intended, just my experiences. It "is" one of the best carpet cleaners ever, though,,,,,98
