Eagle One glass cleaner worked great
I have had a long term problem with a filmy residue that develops on the inside of the windshield of my 96 Taurus. (My truck has never had the problem). Last week I purchased Eagle One 20/20 Perfect Vision Auto Glass Cleaner and it worked great!. The normal window cleaners I have used required multiple applications and repeated changing to a clean rag to only get fair/short-term results. A couple of applications of Eagle One and the film is gone and there aren't any streaks.
I've had success using that product too, but still, when driving into sunshine, I can see the streaks from the paper towel on the windshield. I've heard that using newspaper is good, seems a little abrasive to me. What kind of material do you use to apply the glass cleaner to get best results? Thanks.

.....tried to clean the inside with Rain-X, just no way to get thr streaks to go away! Tomorrow I'm trying Eagle One.....
I know what you mean; been there done that with the Rain X quite some time ago on my wife's car. It was about like spraying oil on the glass. My wife didn't like it; said it made the car smell like raw meat.
