Driver Seat Collapsing

2005 Explorer...driver's seat is collapsing. What can I do?

My 1997 Explorer did the same thing to the point to where is felt like I was sitting between a rock and hard place...very uncomfortable.

Thanks!

Bill

Other than reupholstering the seat, you can get cushioned seat covers. I've got a set of Wet Okole's in mine, and man, what a difference!

you should be able to get a new cushion thru ebay. thats what im doing with my f150 drivers seat, its like 98$ from my local dealer and ebay has several other sellers that are not dealers that have them. you would just need new hog rings and hog ring pliers, take the old cloth or leather off, set the new cushion in and hog ring back up. now, if you need a new cloth or leather cover if its torn up, you can check theseatshop.com, they might have a factory replacement. they are a bit spendy for the leather for my truck but if you got cloth it may not be that bad. good luck

It's been over a year and I was wondering if you were happy with the result? If so, I'd love the name of seller, if you don't mind.
