Angry 3rd door Rattle!!!

I've got a 98 XLT. The 3rd door (I think) rattles at slow speeds...you hit highway speeds and it goes away. Probably has to do with the frequency of the road bumps. How and with what can I troubleshoot this without taking off the 3rd door panel 100 times? Should I try electrical tape or foam? Help! Its starting to rattle my nerves when I have to drive slow in my neighborhood.
Thanks for any rattle solving suggestions.

You guys need to pay attention to the top latch on the rear doors. It needs a little help getting latched. If you put your hand high on the door around the area of the latch up at the top when you close it it will make sure it grabs the body. I have checked three friends rear doors at times and found them not latched at the top. You can of course check this by grabbing the door toward the top and seeing if it pulls away from the body. If so it's not latched. All have said it has fixed the rattle.

Thumbs up

Thanks for the tip RkyMtnFordFan. Had the same rattle on my '01 S-Cab and after reading your post went out and checked my rear doors and sure enough the top latch was not grabbing. After closing door with my hand nearer to the top I noticed that the door was secure...and then went for a ride and low and behold the rattle was gone!...even my dealer thought it was the seat belt assembly coming down from the roof and had a new assembly ordered which I am going to cancel tomorrow. Thanks again for the tip.
