On the passenger side the front window as it goes up or down it squeals. I haven't opened up yet but I have heard that this is a common problem. Can anyone advise? I know with some of the older fords they have felt pads on adjustable brackets.

 

did you get this remedied? I'm frustrated you haven't gotten a hit. Is it rubbing on the seals anywhere? If not, I think regardless, the fix will require you to open up the door.

 

I haven't fixed it yet I've cleaned the window a couple of time and it stops the squealing for a day or two but then is back. I still have not had a chance to take apart the door. To see what is making the noise. Who knows.

Well I had a chance to open it up last night there was some dark brown goo. I clean it up but today the window still squeals. I'm at a loss.

 

Take it to the dealer, and get it looked at under warranty. If it is the same problem as my 2004, it is the Window Regulator. The Ford OEM regulators stink. You will know when the thing breaks and drops the window to the down position...
