has anybody removed the headlining ?? i need to wire up some cab lights so need to remove the head lining to do so.....any advice...thanks

 

On my '03, it's just a matter of removing the visors, visor clips, overhead console, A pillars, door weather stripping, and interior panels in the back that meet the headliner - then it just comes down - there's no adhesive or anything.

Yours being a '97, I'm not sure how different yours will be.
