Ok, so i spent the better part of my work day searching the answer to this question.

Has anyone ever tried to fit the back seats of a 04-09 super crew into a 04-09 super cab? Is there enough room, are the seats that much bigger?

the rear seats from both the super cab and the super crew are one and the same.
The only difference you will see is some have a center arm rest and some dont.

 

Yep, the only difference in the seating between the two is the front seats in the crew cab have seatbelts attached to the pillars where in the supercab they're built into the seat.

 

I'm not sure about how much room there would be in the 04-08 body style, but I've seen a screw seats in a scab of a 97-03 body style and there was NO leg room.

 

You mean 2004 - 2008. 2009+ seats are different.
