How to remove rear seat

I have the 2001 Xcab, and can not figure out how to remove the back vertical seat. I can see the bolts for the bottom horizontal part, but I can figure out how to remove the vertical part. Please help and be as detailed as possible.

Smile Rear seat removal

Ive got a 97 supercab and had to remove the rear seat for speaker instalation. After you have removed the horizontal part of the seat lift up on the bottom of the back rest(the cushiony part at the bottom) and you should see two bolts. One on the right and one on the left. Remove these bolts and lift up on the back rest and it should come out. At least this is how the 97s are.
good luck.

My '99 was the same way. The two bolts on the bottom are kind of hidden and hard to get to, but it wasn't too bad. Once you find them, it's cake... Good luck.

there are three spots at the top of the seatback that you need to push down and pull slightly forward on, to disengage a spring clamp, then pull up after the top is disconnected - it should come right out
