center console help

center console help

Whatsup guys. I've got a lil project going and I need some help with it. I'm looking at getting my leather guy make a nice cover for my center console arm rest but I need help getting the lid off I have an 01 f150 with just the standard flip down console anybody have any idea if you can even take the lid off or not? Any tips will be great thanks!

Yeah man I figured that I just wanted to know the easiest way of doin it

Its been over a year since I did mine,but as I remember it took about 5 minutes and all i had to do was remove a few screws holding the lid to the console and then once off removed a few more on the lid to separate the outer portion from the inner.Its no big deal.Then I upholstered it to save the leather from the dog as she sits on the back seat with her paws on the console.I did mine in a faux fur..I grew up in the 70's so what can I say.. And its very soft on the elbow while driving.
