Re-painting interior plastic pieces

Re-painting interior plastic pieces

My lady's car has scratches all over the interior trim pieces, so I'm going to take them out and clean/repaint them.
Has anybody found a good spray paint for interior plastic? They're slightly textured if that makes a difference, but solid plastic.

Go to your local autobody supply shop for options. I have used VHT brand in the past. The trick is cleaning all the parts to be painted with rubbing alcohol for prep.

I have found that SEM products are the best for Vinyl...

You can purchase SEM products at your auto body supply store or online as well. I have really had great luck with them for vinyl parts and as you can expect, it is all about the PREP as with any paint job. They also have a wide variety of colors and you can likely find a really close, if not dead-on color match.
