console

So i just purchased a center console from an expedition off ebay today. Is there anything i need to remove the old console and put the new one in?

no i didnt get the brackets, where would i get those?

I have to add to this, because I've done this swap in a Scab truck. In the link, the guy mentions cutting piece of carpet to bring the carpet up to the console. If you are already taking the expy console, get the floor ducts and the part that the floor duct attaches to (under dash). The floor ducts route air to under both front seats and allows heat and A/c to reach your backseat. It really makes a difference and it brings the carpet up to the console. Only additional thing I had to do in this conversion was relocate the air bag module, I simply attached it to the floor duct by the dash.
