Center Dash Bezel with Elec A/C Contol

I have the brown woodgrain dash bezel in my 05. I would like to change it with a black carbon fiber one. My truck has the electronic style of heater/ac control and the only ones I seem to be able to find are for the manual controls. Do they make what I am looking for or do I have to get it done to mine? I have the center console with the shifter if that matters any. My interior is black leather and I hate having the brown in it. Also, the front doors has a matching piece to the center bezel. Can that be removed or would the whole door panel have to be replaced? Thanks for your guys help. This forum has helped me out a lot.

The center stack bezel may not be available in the carbon fiber, I think they may be pretty rare since mainly the lariats and higher models have the electronic HVAC and almost all have the woodgrain. It would have to be a piece from an FX4/2 with the electronic hvac but i have personally never seen that model with that option.
You may find a saleen or a lincoln mark LT peice that looks better but i believe the saleens are just modded Fx2s so they dont have an electronic HVAC either.

As far as the door pieces, they do come off, but they are plastic "mushroomed" into the panel. Its a pain in the **** to get them off. I tried but ended up just taking the entire panel off and masking it for paint. I have my center stack and the door trims painted the exterior color of my truck.

You could buy new door panels but at the cost of them, it may not be worth it.
I would suggest painting them a satin black or grey or perhaps wrapping them in some good quality vinyl carbon fiber wrap. I think they have kits like that available on ebay.

Another method would be to remove the center stack and panels, including getting them off the door panels and having them done in hydrographic. Its a bit pricey i think and you would have to glue your door trim panels back on but it would be done well and last.
