problems with headliner

I've got a 1998 F-150 and the headliner is starting to seperate.I used the glue spray but it's not working that great.Thought I'd check to see if anyone has any ideas on how to correct problem before I replace the headliner

you can recover your headliner. Just remove the headliner, remove all the old material from the foam backing and attach new material to the old board. I did my buddies 95 before he sold it.

the correct way to use spray adhesive is spray both sides, let it get tacky for 5-10 minutes before applying the material to the board.

97-03 trucks didnt use a "cardboard" backing like the older trucks did, they used a fiberglass base, but the procedure should be the same.
