Remove scratches from instrument cluster?

Hey All,

I recently had my truck detailed and they scratched up my instrument panel pretty bad. It was the second time I took it back to them because the first time, cleaner was left on the panel and stained it.

Well they scratched it now trying to remove the stains.

Is there anything I can try to remove/reduce them?

Thanks,

Jeff

Brasso and cotton ***** should work. However test a small spot first in case the plastic doesn't play nice.

i know the older trucks 97-03 you could buy just the lens from ford as a replacement, might be something worth looking into.

also OP you might consider bringing this up with the detailer and see if they stand behind their work and can help you with the repair costs if replacement is the only solution

i had an 01 ranger and when i bought it the cluster lens was scratched and hazy...probably from paper towels used on it. i bought some meguier's plastix and went to town on it. i must have worked on it for an hour and a half polishing it with a microfiber cloth and it turned out great...looked new...worth a shot, unless the scratches are deep
