Front seat mod or replace

I have had my 2009 F150 for about 6 months now. I love this truck. The only thing I don't like is the front seat. I find this seat uncomfortable. The front edge of the seat is too high. Did I mention that I am 5'6" with short legs. I find that the front edge is very hard and it pushes on my Hamstrings.

Does anyone know if the seat can be modified? If so, where? I am thinking that the metal rods in the seat can be bent down a bit to make it more comfortable. Any thoughts

Or do I replace the seat.

Thank you,

Chris

I'd try some modification first .While the '09 F-150 comes with adjustable lumbar support it's for a shorter person so is too low for me. I resorted to what I've done in the past and put a piece of foam in the right place.
If you decide to buy you should try it out first.

Ya mete, the lumbar support is great for me but the seat front edge is the problem... I will have to look and see what can be done. If I could drop it by an inch that would help a lot.

Just wondering if any other shortazz's were having the same complaint.
