Where can I find the Chrome Bezels to go around the a/c vents. I have found some on ebay and places I am just not sure if they are the right ones. Can someone point me in the right direction? Are they hard to install?

 

i too would like to know... ive been meaning to go to the ford house and talk to the parts guys and see how much oem one cost but im afraid to find out how much they will be from the dealership.

i got mine at a junk yard for $25. the ac vents pull out (stick your fingers in there grab on and pull) and the trim ring pops off so its very easy to change. a knife, flathead screwdriver, or maybe just a fingernail is the only tool needed.

if you go to the dealership you can only buy the vent assembly, not just the trim ring. fx4 is a silver vent with chrome trim, xlt and harley are the black vent with chrome trim.

the vents are #8 in the pic and im guessing the price is per vent.

You got the whole assembly right? How hard for the install?

 

this is what the vent assembly looks like when you take it out. they just have 2 tabs holding them in but you have to pull hard to get it out. if you try pulling real easy then its probably gonna feel like itll break but none of mine did, a couple did come apart but nothing broke.

 

Thanks for the pic. I found that setup in chrome on ebay for $10 each. I think I am going to ask around the junk yards first.
