Headliner fabric is peeling back

I just noticed this morning the fabric is peeling away from the headliner backing just behind the passenger sunvisor on my 1999 F-150. I've heard of using Velcro to stick it back, but i don't think esthetically its the best fix. Is there any type of glue that might work short of having the entire headliner fixed?

Somehow I have a hard time understanding what this has to do with V-6 engines?

I'd probably try super glue, using a needle and syringe if necessary.

It has nothing to do with engines. I used the forum to cover anything related to the V-6. But thanks for your advice.

you can redo it but to correct it you really need to replace it completely.

You can patch it but it wont last forever.

$50.00 isn't too steep. Did you do the work yourself or have someone do it for you?

i did it myself. it took a while cuz i removed all the old material then putting the new stuff on was alot easier. i like it and it looks alot better than the old one. some people just put the new stuff over the old one but it makes it alot thicker.

I agree. Great job on the headliner replacement.Looks bettter than the factory installed job! But where did you buy the headliner material, from the dealer? Is it an easy fix? What type of glue did you use? I'm not sure i trust myself to do it right.
